Why are we not Hindus but Aryas?

Many Indians who believe in Vedas as their spiritual book and proudly call themselves as Hindus will be surprised to know the real story behind the birth of the word 'Hindu'. Where does this word came from? Have these Indians got it from their dharmic literature? NO!

There is no description of Hindus in any of the dharmic literatures like Vedas, puranas, upanishads, Bhagwat Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata or any literature of the 'Aryavrata'. We have been told or we may have read somewhere that the people out of Indian sub-continent used to refer the people across the Sindhu(Indus) river as Hindus as they couldnt pronounce  the sound 'S' and that is how the people from India were called Hindus.

Actually, During the mughal rule, the people who had their origin from India had to pay a special tax of just being non-muslims called 'Jaziya' and to identify these people, they were termed as Hindus. If you may search the meaning of Hindus in arabic or urdu dictionary like Karimullogat, Gayasullogat or Firozullogat, you would discover that it means a thief, a drunkard, a slave, black, dirty and evil. I have got thousands of proof that they could have pronounced Sindhu, if they couldnt then Muslim would have been muhlim, 'Shaheed' would have been Haheed, 'Swad' would have been Hwad and 'Saal' would have been Haal. Even if you get to know 'Hindus' origins, would it going to make any difference? Hindus have made up their mind not to know the truth. Now the one who doesnt embraces/acknowledges the truth can never get close to journey of reaching to Parmatma/Parmeswar. One can only get salvation if he/she embraces the truth.

Vedic literature say about Aryas which was distorted by Max Muller in his translation of vedas. He perceived aryas as someone who have come from outside India and settled in India. This has been discarded by the scholars through archaelogical, linguistic, cultural and DNA studies being done. We Indians are Aryas which is a Sanskrit word which literally means noble/civilized person and not the Hindus.
